나의 작업은 일상의 어느 것에서부터 시작됩니다. 언제나 그 자리에 있는 나무에서도, 지고 피는 꽃에서도, 찬란히 빛나고 있는 풍경에서도, 오늘은 맞고 내일은 틀릴 수 있는 감정에서도, 항상 같은 자리에 있지만 항상 같은 느낌은 아닙니다. 존재의 의미와, 사물의 의미가 매번 다르듯 고정된 시각의 다른 시선을 표현합니다.
<같지만 다른> 시리즈는 색(色)으로만 판단되는 꽃의 또 다른 아름다움을 들여다보고자 0.03mm의 단색의 펜으로 세밀하게 담아냈습니다. 우리가 바라는 보았지만 진정으로 보지 못한 결, 패턴, 형태를 보다 더 자세히 들여다보며, 무색의 민낯인 꽃의 신비로운 아름다움을 알아봐 주길 바랍니다.
My work begins from everyday things. Whether it’s the tree that is always there, the flowers that bloom and wither, the brilliantly shining scenery, or the emotions that may be right today and wrong tomorrow, they are always in the same place but never feel the same. Just as the meaning of existence and the meaning of objects are different each time, I express different perspectives of a fixed view.
The <Same but Different> series delicately captures another beauty of flowers, which are often judged only by their color, using a 0.03mm monochrome pen. I hope you will look more closely at the textures, patterns, and forms that we have seen but not truly observed, and recognize the mysterious beauty of the colorless, bare flowers.
